What is Bubble Tea?
Bubble Tea originated in Taiwan in the 1980s and has grown in popularity over the world. The name comes from the frothy bubbles formed on the surface of the drink after shaking it. What makes Bubble Tea special is the toppings – traditionally chewy black tapioca balls, ‘boba’, added to the drink to create flavour, texture and so much fun!
It all started with the classic milk tea comprising black tea, milk and ice, shaken until frothy and served with black tapioca balls and a fat straw. Now choose from a range of milk based or fruit based teas, with a burst of fruit bubbles, jellies and much more!
